Diocesan Server Help

These diocese is sharing its limited email and web hosting resources with parishes and schools. These services must be used appropriately to avoid waste of bandwidth, storage, processing, and staff time. The diocese has the right to edit or remove any services at any time.

Email

Do not publicly publish diocesan-hosted email addresses online, whether it be web sites, bulletin boards, or mailing lists. Two alternative methods . . .

• Create web-to-email forms on your web site.
• If it is absolutely necessary to publish an email address online, setup a temporary (free) account with a company such as FastMail.

Web-to-Email Forms

Web-to-email forms shall NOT include variables on the To, Cc, or Bcc lines. All recipient email addresses must be hard-coded (unless necessary for private forms secured by a realm).

Login Information

Do not share your personal login information with others. If someone else within a parish or school needs access, setup a login account specifically for that person.
