From the Pastor:    In today’s gospel Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead and, by doing this, showed the Glory of God for all to see.

Please remember in your prayers the sick in our parish and all those that you and I have promised to pray for.

Next weekend we will be celebrating Palm Sunday.  I hope each of you will be able to take time out of your busy lives to attend the Holy Week

Services.  What a wonderful opportunity to come to know Jesus better as we walk this earth.

This weekend, at both of our Masses, we will be having the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick for those who wish to receive it.

Religious Education Program:    Next Class March 12.  The following are notes from Lynn, Rel. Ed. Coordinator:

*Safety awareness that we are required to present to the students each year.

“Each year the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops in the Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People require that our faith formation programs offer training for all children about personal safety.  This year we will be using “Safety Net Kids” for students in Grades 1-6.  We will be showing this on March 12, 2008. Students in Grades 7-10 will be viewing “WebWise Kids – Katie’s Story” on April 16.  Parents are welcomed to view the DVD prior to its showing or to join us for class.”

*I’m looking for a volunteer to assist on Confirmation night, Tuesday April 15th to help make coffee, serve bars/cookies & clean up.  There are 5 parishes participating and one volunteer from each parish is requested.  Please call Lynn Dingmann at 685-8756 if you can help.
