- DRE/YM May Retreat: "One World, Many Stories" will take place on Friday, May 18th, 2012 at the Mission Office in St. Cloud. The day will include stories from missioners and their cultures around the world, diverse food from around the world, cultural prayer experiences, and time to reflect on our own stories and how we fit into the broader story that unifies all of us as Catholics the world over. Parish ministers wishing to attend should contact the CEM Office to register: 320-251-0111.
- Sepcial thanks to all the groups and individuals who joined our Mission Office staff for the Spring Mission Meetings in each of the deaneries. We greatly enjoyed spending time in prayer, around the Eucharist, sharing mission happenings, and hearing and seeing about the great work you have been doing throughout the year. The 364 participants at these meetings raised $703.30 for the Crosiers' ministry in the Congo, in addition to purchasing over $1,000 in Fair Trade coffee and crafts to help our global brothers and sisters. Thank you again!
- The annual Solidarity in Mission celebration will take place on August 26th, 2012. Join us for the World Mission Rosary at 1:15pm in the lower church, followed by Mass with presider Bishop Kinney and homilist Fr. Virgil Petermeier, OSC in the upper church at 2:00pm. A reception will follow on the church yard immediately after. We are proud to announce that this year's celebration will honor the Mission Groups of the St. Cloud Diocese for their decades of outreach to brothers and sisters in their own backyards and all around the world. It will be a blessed day, and all are welcome for this free event!
- Please help us in praying for the successful obtaining of visas and a safe journey for seven of our partners from the Diocese of Maracay, Venezuela, who will join us on a delegation this upcoming September of 2012. More details coming soon.

The Saint Cloud Mission Office carries the primary responsibility for promotion of the global outreach of the Catholic Diocese of Saint Cloud.
We carry this out in numerous ways, including programs of the Pontifical Mission Societies and Catholic Relief Services, as well as our Global Solidarity Faith Partnerships with the Dioceses of Homa Bay, Kenya and Maracay, Venezuela. The overall goal of the office is to engage as many members of the diocese as possible in the global mission of Christ.
The office serves as a conduit for both people and monetary exchange with the missioners from our diocese as well as the numerous relationships we have with faith communities around the world. We encourage and support mission curriculum development in our schools and Faith Formation programs, the World Mission Rosary, sister parish relationships, our mission Speakers Bureau, the Missionary Cooperation Plan, the sharing of Mass stipends and prayers throughout the world, parish mission groups and the encouragement of mission vocations.
