Fr. Minette (25 year missioner to Venezuela)
and a St. Cloud Delegation visits
Maracay in August of 2003

Fr. Minette was warmly welcomed back to the Diocese of Maracay, Venezuela after 25 years of missionary service.

In August of 2003, Fr. James Minette, Bishop John Kinney, Rosanne Fischer (Mission Office Associate Director), and a small delegation from the St. Cloud Diocese visited our sister diocese in Maracay, Venezuela in August of 2003. Fr. Minette along with other delegates were warmly received by their Venezuelan hosts.

The partnership between the Dioceses of St. Cloud and Maracay dates back to 1964 when St. Cloud Diocesan Priests, Fr. James Minette and Fr. Mark Willenbring, founded the parish of San Bartolome in Maracay, Venezuela. These delegation visits have continued to foster and promote mutuality and friendship in an on-going partnership with Maracay, Venezuela.
