Harvest for Hope
For the past 10 years the Diocese of St. Cloud has celebrated our unique partnership with the Diocese of Homa Bay, Kenya. This year we again celebrated our wonderful relationship with Homa Bay, IN ADDITION to our MANY OTHER wonderful mission connections around the world, including our partnership with Maracay, Venezuela.
Thanks to all who joined us in this celebration of mission on Sunday, September 27th, 2009 - despite the wind, it was a WONDERFUL day! Check back in a few months for the 2010 Harvest for Hope date.
Harvest for Hope activities include:
A down-home Hog Roast meal with all the trimmings
Great old time Minnesota Music and Cultural Music
Silent Auction
Quilt Raffel
Craft Sale (seasonal crosses & wreaths)
Learn about diocesan partnerships and connections
A Special Outdoor Multi-Cultural Liturgy with Bishop Kinney (at 4:00pm)
And most importantly - meeting our missioners & friends from Homa Bay, Kenya AND Maracay, Venezuela
while raising funds for mission!
It's fun & fellowship for the entire family!!!
This year's Harvest for Hope was extra special as we expanded our celebration to include all our diocesan mission connections. We were joined by special delegates from our partner diocese of Maracay, Venezuela, including their Bishop Rafael Conde. Thanks to all who joined us in welcoming them to our diocese and celebrating our global solidarity with them, our brothers and sisters in Kenya, and all our global family!
See you again next year!

The farm is about 6 farms down #175 after you pass the #14 intersection (stay on #175) - it is on the RIGHT side of the road. The Spanier Farm is the only farm on the right hand side of the road, with a metal archway over the driveway entrance.
