Speakers' Bureau Mission Statement:This Speakers' Bureau hopes to foster a greater appreciation of our faith's global dimensions. This Speakers Bureau hopes to develop a broader awareness of our inter-relatedness with people of various cultures from around the world. This Speakers Bureau hope to make our many global and mission resources more readily available to diocesan schools, parish religious education programs, parish communities, faith organizations, mission circles, and local communities. This Speakers' Bureau is a network of returned missioners, visiting missionaries, various mission oriented religious communities, and internationally traveled Minnesotans who have a desire to share the mission of the church and cross-cultural experiences. The Diocesan Speakers' Bureau has a variety of resources to draw upon to meet your needs and interests. You can integrate these speakers and our resources into a comprehensive, multiple session global lesson that could encompass any of the following subject areas: Faith Formation, Integrate Speakers into a special Mission Education Program. Host a speaker in conjunction with a service project or an intensive global awareness program with a series of on-going weekly lessons, music, songs, videos, cultural education, and ethnic foods given throughout a semester or school year.
