Experiencing Africa in Vacation Bible School

Africa, Mission, and Vacation Bible School!

Nearly seventy-five children from Sauk Centre, Minnesota got a taste of mission and Africa at "Kingdom of the SON" (a special summer Vacation Bible School). Students from 4 years old through the 6th grade experience the joy, wisdom, and faith of the African People through prayer, music, arts & crafts, and sign language. This special Vacation Bible School was held at Holy Family School in Sauk Centre on the week of June 6 - 9th.

It was great way to get kids excited about mission and their faith through Vacation Bible School encounters like these with Africa...

Learning the Our Father in Sign Language
In addition to experiencing the Kenyan landscape, the children learned the "Our Father" in Swahili and sign language while sitting on African grass mats.

Children add some beat to their singing with their newly made "Praise Drums" and with African instruments.
