FAITH FORMATION
| Catholic Education Ministries (CEM), in bringing faith to life and life to faith, offers exciting opportunities for Catholic school principals, directors of religious education, and people in the diocese to grow in their faith with nationally known speakers such as Thomas Groome, Mike Patin, Jane Regan and many others. Ministry Formation classes, catechist trainings and Why Catholic are examples of programs offered to assist adults of the diocese in ongoing faith formation. CEM organizes the Senior and Junior High Youth Rallies, Castaway Retreats, A Call to Service, and participation in the National Catholic Youth Conference to offer experiences for the youth of our diocese to engage in the life of the Church. |

TV MASS
| Our televised Sunday Mass airs on KSAX-TV, cable stations and in nursing homes and hospitals, reaching about 95% of the diocese; it is also on our website. It is produced in our chapel in the Pastoral Center by our diocesan Communications Office, local priests, choirs, and numerous volunteers. Based on the countless calls and letters of support the Communications Office receives from viewers, it is clear that this ministry reaches many homebound viewers, giving them a way to feel connected to our local faith community. This ministry and many others are funded directly by donations to the Annual Appeal. |
