Welcome To My World is a workshop designed to
enable participants to grow in their understanding and
awareness of persons with ability differences. The workshop
is fourfold: to assess present attitudes, to simulate
experiences of various disabling conditions, to dispel myths
and misunderstandings, and to call participants to open
themselves to the talents and riches of persons with ability
differences.
The workshop is adaptable to all age groups and is
available through the Diocese of St. Cloud to all its
parishes, religious education programs and Catholic schools.
Since October, 2001, over 300 students have participated in
the program.
