The Ministry Formation Program is an outreach of Catholic Education Ministries in collaboration with Saint John's University in which undergraduate level courses are offered in various sites around the Diocese. Our goal is to offer the best in theological education at a level that builds up church ministries throughout the Diocese, while remaining cost effective and reasonable in travel time.
People involved in all levels of parish ministry have participated, from professional parish and school staff persons to senior citizens simply looking for "more". So far there have been almost 2500 registrations for over 150 classes since fall of 1991.
If your parish or school can gather 15 or more folks, call us at 320-251-0111 to schedule a class or series near you!
The cost of a class is $145.00 for 2 credits from Saint John's University or $85.00 for non-credit. There is an additional cost for texts (and occasionally room and board) depending on the course. Registrants will be notified of the text fee, which has been less than $30.00 for the most part.
